Sources and method
Every fact on a country page comes from the blood service's own page, opened on the date shown on that page.
Where the facts come from
- The page of the national blood service, or of its parent body, that states the rule. The page names it.
- Where a country has no single national service, the page names the body whose rule is quoted, for example a regional blood bank or a ministry.
- Where the service's page shows a date, the page repeats it.
What is left out
A fact the source does not give is omitted rather than guessed. A country whose service page could not be read and checked has no page.
This site quotes what a page says. It is not medical advice and it is not the authority: the blood service and its donation centre decide.
